My name is Ed. I love learning, exploring, and making things.

This website is a space for me to share, and a vehicle to improve my writing skills.

I run a startup called Grasp. We build tools that help university students and adults learn online. My current areas of self-study are Pure Mathematics and Programming Language Theory.

In the past, I built and ran products at Revolut and invested in early stage technology companies at DST Global.

I have a degree in Economics and a degree in Statistics. My masters research was on the application of Multi-Agent (Deep) Reinforcement Learning to Market Making.

I enjoy olympic weightlifting and have a minor interest in “notaphily”.

I rarely play videogames anymore, but my all time favourites were Starcraft 2, Halo CE, and Jak & Dexter.
